Nursing students have meaningful opportunities to put skills into action, benefitting from field experiences at some of the nation’s top-ranked hospitals and health care organizations that are located just a few minutes from campus. During sophomore and junior years, students participate with and learn from great health care mentors at institutions including: the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, the Arthur James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Students are also active in the community by working or volunteering at places like Faith Mission, Columbus Public Schools, the Franklin County District Board of Health, Hospice Centers, and LifeCare Alliance.
